Leadership and Management Section | Our ScholarshipsThe Leadership & Management Section (LAMS) of the New York Library Association is seeking candidates to apply for one of three scholarships to go towards the costs of attending the 2024 Annual Conference in Syracuse for the first time. One award will be given to Library Administrators and another to a Library Assistant/Support Staff member. The third award will be given to a new Director, appointed in the past three years, who will be attending the conference for the first time as Director. The awards are $800 each and will be sent to the selected candidates after registering for the NYLA Annual Conference. The stipends can be used to cover conference costs at the winner’s discretion. The 2024 NYLA Conference will be held at the Oncenter in Syracuse from November 6-9, 2024. More conference information can be found on the NYLA website under Events/Annual Conference. To apply for these scholarships, submit the application and letter of reference via email to Kristine Casper at [email protected] by July 31, 2024. All applications will be reviewed by the LAMS’ Scholarship Committee. The winners of the scholarships will be selected by August 16, 2024.
