What is the FLS Tribute Fund?

Do you have a friend or a group that you’d like to honor, thank, or just give a “shout out" to? Here’s your chance to do just that and help out FLS at the same time.

FLS Tribute Fund donations will be placed in the FLS Randall Enos Conference Scholarship Fund to help ensure the longevity of this continuing education opportunity for FLS members.

Add a name to the FLS Tribute Fund Honor Roll with your donation and recognize that special individual or group. It’s so easy to do! Look over the list of available options make your selection, and complete the donor form.

The Cornwall Public Library is grateful to Jane Harkinson for her tireless and excellent leadership of the Friends of Cornwall Public Library. She has dedicated herself for countless years to the library’s mission, strengthening its services and programs, and thereby improving the whole Cornwall community in the process. Humbled by her many selfless acts of generosity, we cherish her as our Best Friend!
This tribute to Jane is a gift from the Board of Trustees and the Staff of the Cornwall Public Library. Their donation benefits the FLS Randall Enos Conference Scholarship Fund.

In Grateful Appreciation!
The FLS Executive Board expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Susan Swanton, longtime board member and officer of EFR and FLS for all of her years of service to our organization, Friends of Libraries, and the library community in New York State and beyond. Sue has retired from an active role on the board but continues as EFR archivist. “Thank You” is hardly adequate for all of your years of service! FLS is proud to add you as a Best Friend to our Tribute Fund Honor Roll.

FLS expresses gratitude to LONG-TIME board member and past multi-term EFR President Betsy Sywetz who went off the board in November. Betsy is amongst the longest-serving members of the EFR / FLS Executive Board. Thank you, Betsy. Also leaving the board was Frank VanZanten, an EFR Daniel W. Casey Library Advocacy Award recipient. Thank you both for your support of and service to libraries throughout the years. You have been added to Best Friends on the FLS Tribute Fund Honor Roll by the Executive Board.
