NYLA Executive Committee

Charge

The Executive Committee shall serve as the interim governing body between Council Meetings.  The Executive Committee reports its actions at the next meeting of the Council.  The Council may delegate to the Executive Committee any power within the scope of the Council. A majority of the Members of the Committee shall constitute a quorum.

Composition

The Executive Committee shall consist of the President, the President-Elect, the Immediate Past President, the Treasurer and the Treasurer-Elect. The President shall serve as Chair of the Committee. The Executive Director may attend and shall serve as Secretary and an ex-officio, nonvoting member. If the Executive Director cannot attend, the Past President shall serve as the Secretary for any executive committee meetings.
