ENYSLMA is a Roundtable of NYLA.
ENYSLMA encompasses more than 100 school library media specialists throughout Region 4 in Eastern New York. Membership is open to anyone interested in the field of school media and information science.
ENYSLMA provides programs and networking opportunities that encourage best practice in current and emerging aspects of the school library profession.
Our mission is to advocate for and promote the interests of the school library media specialists in our area to help them enable their students to become independent learners and avid readers.
To accomplish this mission, we assist and encourage our members through an active network of dedicated professionals. We offer mentoring services to new media specialists and students pursuing a degree in library school. We also actively advocate for increased support of school library media programs and school library systems.
