 About Leadership and Management Section (LAMS)
Leadership at Every Level
Welcome to the Leadership & Management Section of NYLA. You don't have to be the boss to be a leader!
Whether you work in a public, school, academic or special library, or even if you are a student, we encourage you to become a LAMS member. There are currently 9 sections of NYLA and as a member you get to choose complimentary membership in one of the sections.
LAMS membership is open to all library staff, whether or not you have a library degree or hold a supervisory/managerial position. We are passionate about helping you be a strong library leader in your community.
